New Recruits
*Please note: all steps must be completed for applicant to be considered.
- A cover letter and resume as well as three letters of reference must be provided
- Must have proof of valid First Aid and CPR Certification at the time a job offer is given
- Show diploma for completion of four years of secondary school education or the equivalent
- Completed video of yourself running to a level seven (7) on the shuttle run (Click here to upload).

Completed Consent and Release of Liability Form
- Completed Recruitment Consent and Release of Liability Form
- Two (2) pieces of Government issued Photo Identification (ie. Drivers Licence, Passport, Canadian
Citizenship, Secure Certificate of Indian Status). Ensure to submit front and back of your identification. - School Transcripts (Secondary and Post-Secondary education)
- Fitness Logs for a period of 14 days (within the last 60 days)
- Include any other documentation for consideration
What to Expect:
Once we have received an application, the following will occur:
- Pre-screening of applicant
- Pre-background questionnaire
- Background investigation
- Offer of employment or letter of rejection
- Psychological Evaluation
Experienced Officers
*Please note: all steps must be completed for applicant to be considered.
- A cover letter and resume as well as three letters of reference must be provided
- Include Ontario Police College Basic Training Certificate or a equivalent recognized by the Ontario Police College
- Include the following supporting documents: Valid First Aid and CPR Certification, Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Completed APS Application for Employment Form
- Completed Medical Form
- Completed Vision and Hearing Medical Forms
- Completed Consent and Release of Liability Form
- Completed Recruitment Consent and Release of Liability Form
- Completed McNeil Self-Disclosure Report
- Most recent Performance Evaluation
